Product description
🌿 Bael Fruit Slices — Aegle marmelos
Fragrant, Amber‑Sweet & Rooted in Thai Tradition
Bael Fruit, also known as Aegle marmelos, has been cherished across South and Southeast Asia for centuries. In Thailand, dried bael slices are used to prepare Nam Matoom — a naturally fragrant, amber‑coloured drink enjoyed both warm and iced. Traditionally served to welcome guests, it carries a gentle sweetness, soft citrus notes, and a distinctive aromatic depth.
Our Bael Fruit Slices are carefully dried to preserve their natural colour, aroma, and character. Each slice reveals the fruit’s signature star‑shaped core and rich, honeyed fragrance. This product is supplied for culinary, ceremonial, educational, and craft purposes.
🍊 Culinary & Craft Uses
Bael Fruit Slices are wonderfully versatile:
Brew into traditional Thai Nam Matoom (hot or iced)
Add to herbal blends for natural sweetness and aroma
Simmer in syrups, broths, or spiced infusions
Use decoratively in potpourri, craft blends, or ritual offerings
Their flavour pairs beautifully with cinnamon, ginger, lemongrass, pandan, clove, and citrus peel.
