Mexican Dream Herb usage dates back to the Mayan Chontal Indians. The Chontal medicine men call this botanical “The leaf of God”. This is traditionally taken as a bitter tea before sleep, the leaves are also smoked while drinking the tea, this is believed to induce lucid states within the dream state.
